Packages also end up cheaper than booking each part separately so consider this option. Go to a travel agency who can assist you on your needs. A good and reputable travel agency should be able to offer a number of vacation tours and packages for you.
Other things to keep in mind when traveling is to pack light especially when you are going to a resort. Bring your necessities in proper packaging so as not to spill anything on your clothes. Separate your electronic gadgets like digital camera, cellular phone, iPod and the likes from your toiletries. Also, keep a good amount of cash ready in case you need it. It is also advisable to bring 2-3 credit cards if you are using the plastic for payment. Check online if your bank has a facility on the place you are going to make sure you can withdraw cash on any ATM machine available.
Lastly, check the weather for any last minute forecast changes. This will let you have ample time to reschedule your trip if necessary. Bring a map of the place you are going to avoid getting lost and wasting time finding your way there.
