Fashion Trends at the 2009 Emmy Awards

The 2009 Emmy Awards have several things to highlight – the deserving winners, acceptance speeches and of course, the celebrity fashion trends which are all scrutinized by fans, critics and media.
It was a fashion style night with celebrities coming in wearing signature dresses, shoes and sparkling accessories with their friends or partners in tow. One can easily get mesmerized with how gorgeous these celebrities really turn out to be every time a big event such as the 2009 Emmy this year. This is a reason why the red carpet is always one of the best parts in any awards nights.
Gossip Girl star Blake Lively walked in the red carpet with so much poise and glamour. Blake Lively wore a red, figure-flattering Versace dress. Many reviews commend the way she carried herself in a very sexy dress like this. Leighton Meester , on the other hand, wore a stunning white Bottega Veneta dress which looks wonderful on her. She matched it with an up do of soft locks and a red clutch. The Gossip Girl stars, Blake Lively and Leighton Meester were guest presenters in the 2009 Emmy Awards.
Others celebrities wearing fabulous dresses include Jennifer Love Hewitt with a yellow flowing dress and a silver clutch, model Heidi Klum was in a black strapless Marchesa gown looking in every way glamorous and Elizabeth Moss in a nude color, embellished, one-shoulder dress and a classic do. Drew Barrymore is in radiating on her Monique Lhuillier strapless gown, beaded and floor length bodice style.
It may seem like a yearly event but the 2009 Emmy Awards has offered new looks on the red carpet with all the celebrities flaunting the latest fashion trends and designer gowns.
