The hair is a woman’s crowning glory which is why proper maintenance is given to it at all times. One way to take care of the hair is by being informed about hair vitamins which helps nourish the hair. Deficiencies in vitamins can lead to thinning hair or baldness in some cases. Having healthy and shiny hair reflects the overall condition of the body. It is for this reason that hair care is very important.

One of the vitamins which help in the proper growth of the hair is beta-carotene. Beta-carotene promotes healthy hair. Vitamin A is also needed not only for the formation of normal bones, nails, skin but also for the hair. There are other hair vitamins like B6, inositol, folic acid and biotin, magnesium, silica and zinc which can be taken as vitamin supplements. All these help improve the health of the hair as well as prevent it from getting weak or damaged. Aside from these, it’s still recommended that one should avoid stress or lack of sleep which can also result to diminishing hair or baldness.
